dyno suggestions

going to get my G dynoed sometime next week.
07 X AT HFC and KN drop in.
any suggestions which gear to do the pull? or anything i should prepare??

ideal is 1:1(5th on MT and i THINK 4th on AT) but it tends to stress the engine when flooring to take the rpms from 2k to redline so most ppl dyno at a lower gear(3rd on AT) and then use the conversions to get the correct numbers....

4th gear on 5AT is 1:1.

ya 4th ends at 130mph thats not redline. thats just the speed governor

You should monitor the ECT and IAT for all runs with some sort of reader and ensure that they are within 5 degrees or so for each run. You will need to do at least 3 runs, that way the 3rd run will validate at least one of the first 2 runs.

It never hurts to get the actual dyno files on floopy or emailed so you can view them in a downloadable viewer. SAE correction too.
