Most of the time when i tell people they have to run more than 2 degrees of negative camber freak out and get something conservative.

I could not really allow for a much wider wheel, you will just rub on the insde if you get too wide. In-spec and wide or out of spec and wide, I'd take in spec anyday.
You gotta pay to play as they say, it's not for everyone, but those that are willing to replace tires atleast once a year... DO IT!

There was a web site that allowed you to view offset side by side and it told you how much farther out they will hang and how much closer to you inner fender they will be. I cannot seem to find it so I grabbed a calculator to give you an idea of how aggressive a 10.5" 18 mm is. My wheels are 10 inches wide and have a 42 offest. They stick out about 3 mm on one side, with my camber kit and alignment in spec. These will stick out 1.18 inches farther than mine AND about 35mm past the fender, that's huge! Maybe not for a coupe but a sedan these won't fit.
