OK,OK,OK I was wrong. Here is the site I found. http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp

They won't stick out 35mm they will stick out 57 MM! That's 2.2 Inches! Go for it, I'm sure you will be thrilled with that fitment.

Wheels: Wheel 1 Wheel 2
Wheel size 17x7.5 ET 45 19x10.5 ET 18
BackSpace 153 mm (6'') 164 mm (6.4'')
11 mm (0.4'') deeper.
Rim Lip 65 mm (2.6'') wider

Tires: Tire 1 Tire 2
Tire size 225/55-17 285/35-19
Section width 225 mm (8.9'') 285 mm (11.2'')
Sidewall 124 mm (4.9'') 86 mm (3.4'')
Tire diameter 680 mm (26.8'') 680 mm (26.8'')
Rim sizes 17x6 to 17x8.5 19x9 to 19x10.5
Circumference 2135 mm (84.1'') 2135 mm (84.1'')
Revs per mile 753.7 753.7

Clearance: Package 1 Package 2

Suspension Assuming that this is OEM wheel/tire and there is no any problems with clearance on both sides Package is 3 mm (0.1'') closer to suspension/brakes components. Acceptable for most cars.

Fenders Package will stick out 57 mm (2.2'') farther. Make sure that you have enough room under the fender. If not, consider narrower tires or higher offset.

I haven't experimented with this yet, but high camber in back theoretically yields higher 1/4 mile times because contact patch gets even smaller when the rear squats.

yes they will stick out further, hence why cambering them in!!
stock cars also have about 1-2 inches between the outside of the tire and the inside of the fender well, meaning that they are tucked in about 1-2 inches. so therefore it will only stick out about .2 inches, which can easily be cambered in.

you are correct, but i dont see where that comes into this thread.

i would not recommend high degrees of negative camber for people you drag race their car, due to loss of contact patch. negative camber can be good for road racing and autocrossing though, as it will give a greater contact patch when turning.

also for fi people, like yourself, i wouldnt recommend it either.

To OP. Don't do it. Just buy the right wheels the first time.

My wheels are 10" wide and it's lowered 1.3 inches. I have a 42 offset and they stick out 3mm. These will stick out 30mm if mounted on my car. 1.18 inches based on my quick math. Dont' do it. I'm out.

lol, you people and your math... every car is different and will fit wheels differently, there is no reason why you cant make these wheels fit if you're willing to. It will take a lot of work and sacrifice, but it can be done. Lower the car atleast 2" run atleast -2.5 camber all around and get 225/255 tires.
