Window tint will hurt your am/fm reception.
It would've cost me an additional $50 for the special tint that does not affect reception, I should've gotten it.
I noticed the DAY I got my windows tinted (30% all around regular gray). It was the best tint (lifetime warranty) without going with the special tint.
Two stations that came in totally clear before, now both are fuzzy half the time. Night and day difference for those two stations. Before they never went out, now they go out half the time.
My tint is 3M FX-HP tint.

Why not? I did, knowing that the benefits outweighed the isues that can occur using lesser, semi-metalic film. Our G's have a rediculous amount of electronics in them. Why chance the potential issues by saving a few bucks?
