Roger & 07G35S6MTTech, when did you order your cars? My dealer just got their 1st 09. It's the same color as mine. It's just not mine.

Congrats to the two of you. That's quite a nice early Christmas present for you.

Thanks oab97. I placed my order in early September although I don't think they actually placed the order until early October. I'll try to post pics after I take delivery of the car.

I ordered mine (with tech) in October and it was originally promised in January. Two weeks later, they told me that the car was going to be delayed because of Garnet Ember paint problems at the factory. Then they found me a red car that was in route to the country, but didn't have tech and asked if I wanted that. Since I didn't want to wait extra time, I told them to get me the car with no tech. They diverted the car from California and told me I would have it on November 1st. Then they said it would be November 27th. Then they said December 19th. I got it on December 9th. I think I have exclusivity in Atlanta right now!

Quote: Funny you should say that because I asked the sales dude what the break in period was and he said that I could just "drive it like I stole it" on the way home. I didn't do that, but I enjoyed my 9-mile drive home on city streets, no highways.

Initial impressions: Quiet car, fast, smooth transmission, paddle shifters are fun, XM radio sounds great, iPod integration is wonderful, bluetooth phone controls work flawlessly.

Still to learn: navi voice commands, how it drives on the highway.

Atlanta is in a terrible drought right now, and I discovered that the best way to ease the drought is to go buy a new car. Right now it is supposed to rain for the next two days, so the G37 stays in the garage until the roads dry. I'll drive my 1997 Acura CL until things clear up.

Pictures soon...I promise. I know you all want to see how the spoiler looks!
So whihc dealer did you get it from? Can't wait to see your pics? I thought same thing when I saw you initial post, we have had tons of rains here the last 3 days, weekend is supposed to be great though so clean it up and take some pics and enjoy that bad boy.

As for drought I use No Rinse in my garage to wash the car. As long as the car is not totally disgusting this stuff works great and I still get to wash the car almost every week.

those are the same specs i want but the brochure says that to get the spoiler you have to order the tech pkg which i dont want.

i guess that the spoiler can be had without the tech pkg.

good luck with your new g.

I really do plan on taking pics on Saturday and posting them. It's dark by the time I get home from work.

For those who asked, I got my car thru Roswell Infiniti. I got the VPP deal thru Nissan so the price was set before I went in. That cuts out the haggling, which I hate going thru, so it made a good deal even better.

I'm getting 20.4 MPG right now, but I've only put 60 miles on the car. The new 7th gear really helps on the highway. I have charted the engine RPM's from 50-70 and will post them with the pics.

I promise those pics on Saturday, so stay tuned!!!
