Not really, the A/V control unit (the head unit) stays in the car. The bezel around the LCD has to come out, but only 2 more screws will get the LCD out.

It's possible to do without taking the LCD out, but I think the results are much better if you put the LCD onto a table top. It's very easy. If you go to any of the so cal meets, I can put it in for you.

its VERY easy to remove and install!!! Terry... is this anti-glare you are putting in mine? I would REALLY prefer than, the glare sucks so bad I can't see with teh sun roof open! Thanks again for helping me with KP install!!!

Yes, it is anti-glare. If the sun hits the LCD just right, it still won't help because the sun simply overpowers the LCD. If it doesn't work out it'll come off without any residue.

I can't wait until the 26th!!! Be able to control NAV while moving and be able to play videos! You da man Terry! If you wouldn't mind maybe taking me for a spin your beast of a G Terry and his G
