I just ordered these from Rick and they should be coming in sometime next week. Rick/GTSpec were not 100% sure that the 4 & 2 point brace frames were going to fit on our X's (but I expect they will) so I will be the guinea pig in this aspect.

Awesome, Mike!! Good looking out for the X crowd!!! Definitely let us know if they fit. I'm not sure if the 4-pt will work, or is actually needed, on an X or not. I was under th impression that the X already had a similar chassis brace from the factoy. Please give us an update, though, once you get them, Mike.

the X's might have the transfer case being in the way to make it fit correctly. I know they might be able to test it for fitment purposes on someone if they ask.

so i wanted to buy the M brace for our sedans but i wasnt too sure that it would work w/ my Stillen exhaust so i emailed GTSpec and this is what they responded back sadness .

The M shape brace only fits stock cat back, we were able to install the brace while the car was on the lift. However, the piping raddled against the brace when going over bumps. It was so close that small movements of the exhaust hanger caused the rubbing issue.
fellow X'ers im still waiting on the 4 and 2 point braces to come in. i think once they come in, imma install them either this Friday or Sat

Let us all know how it goes, Mike. I'm curious to know if they all work on the X.

Incidentally, I was out at Riverside today chatting with Rick and he said they actually got their first X model in there the other day... First one every! I told him he should have gotten the guys number and seen if we could use his car for fitments. LOL

I'll be getting the M-Brace fo my car (Rick says it should be in soon) and will let you guys know how it fits.

on topic, please let me know if that M-Brace will fit as the GTSpec rep said that no aftermarket catbacks will fit

I'll definitely let you know how the fitment of the M-Brace goes, once it comes in.

Yes, you are corrent, San.. but I already told Mike that I would test fit the brace on Travis' (KulG35) car with his FI exhaust before I install it on my car.

Good to go. That will help a lot of people with the FI who want the brace.

Yup, that's what I figured... And, if it fits with the FI, then it should be no problem with the Stillen and most othr cat backs.

I'm gonna have my mid-pipe / x-pipe custom made after I have the M-brace installed... it should be pretty easy to make something custom that will clear.
