Who has passed their break in period for the G37 Sedan

I want to know who passed their brake in period. Please share your experience of how the car handles, average mpg you're getting and anything else you've noticed since driving the car for over 1,000 miles.

I only got 600 miles on mine, so i still got 2 or 3 weeks left.

So far i've noticed: (previously driving a 2nd gen. g35)

1) Engine is quiter.
2) the car is def. faster. You can especially feel the difference in ds mode.
3) some people had some doubts about the new Dunlop tires(on the sport package), but i drove in snow, and It didn't even feel like i was driving in snow or even on ice.
4) i really want to test the 0-60 and 1/4 mile but i obviously have to wait a few more weeks. I can't wait becuase the car is just begging to go fast.

Anyway,
Hope to hear about your experiences......

I just picked up my baby today and i can concur that she is begging to go fast. I'm no where near the break in miles as yet so it won't be until a while that i truly experience what she is about.

Stop being a wuss. The break-in period is pure bullsh*t. I drove my car like I stole it from Day 1, and my car is great

I had an 03 and and 04 Coupe. The first one I babied through break in and the second one I drove the $hit out of it from day one. No difference that I could detect from either way. There are also many different ideals and reasonings behind the idea of "break-in."

Well i'm not babying the car by any means, but being that its my first car and i live in NY and the pavements are wet from the melting ice so i'm going a bit easy. But so far i love the car very much, its real smooth, all it wants to do is go fast. I already got over 100 miles on her and i only have her for about 2 days now.

2800 miles, 17.5 mpg. Seems like there is a bit more body flex than my old Altima. Gear shifter less stiff. Still luvin' the car. Can't wait to try out my Blizzaks in a major storm. Should be fun. Still also waiting for my IForged redo's and R2C performance intake.
