Has anyone experienced any issues using an ipod touch, and the ipod interface in the '08 g35x? it tells me the device is not supported and will not charge. the touch is fully updated with the latest software. any ideas?

The latest gen Touch, 3G iPhone, and I believe the new Nanos don't work with the Infiniti cable. Apple changed the way they charge, so while they play with the old cable, they will not take a charge. There are adapters that you can buy that work, but so far no updated cable from Infiniti.

This issue has been discussed before: https://g35driver.com/forums/tech-07...eneration.html

and folks concluded that the following adapter works well: http://scosche.com/products/sfID1/21...productID/1667

I am yet to try this out personally...need to upgrade to iPhone 3G first

The iPod will still play but it will not charge.
This is because the older models could charge from wither USB or Firewire.
The newer models are USB only. Most of the older cables charge through Firewire, so you are SOL.

It will still play though, so that's a little good news anyway.
