Rattles are not a reason for a class action law suit, nor do I think make a car a lemon. I've been playing around tucking little sponge pieces around the black trim that seperates the Nav window and the controller to see if it makes any difference. So far no.

I kid you not. But my old 02 WRX wagon I traded it on this car that I drove hard and had 123K had a quieter interior. my back-up car which is a 94 Honda Accord with 135K miles is still rattle free.

I have several. B pillar seatbelt adjuster on passenger side....package tray....creaking popping from the windshield...washi trim on passenger door...center console creaks and pops. Most "rattly" vehicle Ive ever owned. I have a love/hate relationship with this vehicle since it excels in just about every other area.

I did fix one on my own...I had the buzz/rattle come from the steering wheel, and I pushed a little harder on the horn button and something snapped into place, no more buzz.

i have had rattles from the first week of ownership. the first was in the sunglasses compartment, which has not gone away after taking out my sunglasses. also from passenger side seatbelt area...somewhere on the passenger side console...passenger side door (maybe speaker?)...steering column...and the air duct on the drivers side near the windshield which goes away if i hold on to it.

every week i feel like i hear a new noise. drives me crazy... i'm worried that the dealership would do more harm than good trying to fix these issues.

Me too, I also have a love/hate relationship with this car. I've also encountered occasionally the popping sound you mentioned. But could never figured out where it was coming from. But it always goes away.

This is the cheapest made expensive car money can buy.

Have a rattle in the area of the armrest - emptied everything out, but it is still there...

Interesting, recently drove my dad's 2007 V6 Accord - less wind noise, no rattles at all.

Sunglass holder rattle is an easy fix. Try to leave it open see if it will stop the rattle. Those stupid push to open door rattle way to easy. Especially when it is upside down. All you have to do is get a little foam strip with double sided tape on one side and tape it to the base. So when you close the sunglasses holder it will hold it better. I know i did that with my 07 and the rattle was gone. It was rattle free after for a year and sold it like that.

I did that before with my other cars and it worked. Make sure you don't go with the too thick foam you won't be able to close the door.

Mine rattles mostly come from the front doors with moderate stereo volume. It sounds like loose wiring rattling on cheap plastic...wait, that's exactly what it is but my dealer said its not covered under warranty.

Although I had a thread for it, I will add my passanger seat Active Head Restraint system rattle. It is getting really bad. I havent been proactive about trying to fix it, but thats only because it is going to require me to peel the leather off the seat, one of these days. I might give the dealer another shot first.

I also have some center console rattle, rear deck rattle, passanger speaker rattle, occasional popping noises (esp when frosty), and some rattle in the dashboard when on really rough roads like cobblestone.

Funny, I don't recall ordering the interior rattle package.

I have 32k on my '07 journey..at around 30k a rattle starting sounding from the steering column. I moved the scope around to try to get the sound out...no luck. I press the different areas around the steering column while driving to try to get rid of the sound. sounds like something is loose in there...a crackling type of sound.

I get the same creak...I was hoping it was due to cold weather also

Has anyone had any success in getting this fixed?

anyone have this issue? Anyone SOLVE this issue?
YES! I have the same issue with my 2008 G35x, which I picked up mid-November. Basically I'd describe the noise as a quiet creak or rattle when I go over bumps in the road. It sounds sort of like a loose spring or something. I isolated the noise to the movable instrument cluster and it stops when I hold the top up with my hand. Not very noticeable, except to us OCD G35 drivers who expect and demand perfection.

I brought the car to the dealer yesterday, today they told me that they're still working on it. Hopefully, they'll be able to locate the noise and repair it with the Infiniti/Nissan "Squeak and Rattle Kit".

I'll let you know what happens...

You are very lucky. I really wish I could say the same. Right after I got my 2008 G35 sedan in August I noticed the horrible buzzing from the rearview mirror. The dealer reduced this, but it still buzzes.

The material at the top of the A pillar squeaks quite a bit. It's gotten a bit better over time.

Then I had the noise coming from the sunroof when the sunshade was open. The deal put silicon grease on it and that fixed it, but then I started hearing sounds from the sunroof area with the sunshade closed. Great.

The area around the shifter makes a clicking/rattling sound if I go over any rough surface. I mean normal city roads that aren't perfectly smooth. It's worse when the interior of the car is warm. Even just speeding up/slowing down or going around a corner can cause this.

Lately I'm hearing something right in front, maybe inside the instrument cluster or above that. Sometimes it's a loud clap, and other days it's like loose springs or wires in there.

I don't mind hearing the engine, or tire or wind noise at high speed on the freeway, but interior noises like this drive me nuts. My previous cars were pretty cheap, and this is the first time I've "splurged" on an "upscale" car. So, I'm disappointed. I'd love to say I love my car, just turn up the radio and you won't hear those noises, but the truth is it bothers me and I wonder if I'd have been happy with the Lexus IS or MB C-class I was looking at. At this point, I'd very gladly give up 100 hp for a car this is quiet inside.

Are you serious, 10 months old and only 1500 miles on it, LOL. Thats like 150 miles a month!!! Mine is my weekend car too, my wife drives it to and from work but its just a 30 mile round trip. I think I do at least 300 miles each weekend, and thats on weekends where I dont plan a trip. Mine is almost 10 months with 16500 miles. What can I say, I love to drive this car
