Which G to get?
Don't worry so much about what magazines say about the 6 speed's deficiencies. I love mine and have no regrets. Drive one and if you think the 6 speed does not live up to your expectations, then get the auto. Your approval of the tranny probably depends on what manual tranny cars you have driven in the past and what expectations you bring with you. Personally, I think this manual is the best I've driven. But I've never driven anything over $50K either.
I bought Journey with Premium and Sports. I didn't think I wanted Nav for a variety reasons, namely portability, upgrades, and changes in technology since I plan on keeping this G for 10 years or so. I also didn't think I needed a backup camera since I've been driving for years without one, including much bigger vehicles.
Options like that just make life easier, or more comfortable. Why cheap out on yourself?
