kinda want to know

Hey guys just wanted to know what are the side effects or problems that i will have if i return my lease and the lettering off the back of hte car is debadged. will the dealer or compnay give me crap about it or will it cost me money or is it best that i just get a adhesive and put it back on...

I turn my 05 lease in w/ it dedadged and nothing was said but I stayed with them on a new car.

Simple Answer: Depends on the inspector, period!

No one knows for sure, if they really want to make some extar cash they can harass you for anything and if they're coll about it then they'll let anything slide...

ok so i think debadge it is lol if they say its a problem ill put it back on then but what type of adhesive or glue could i use?

new ones come with 3m tape attached and thats what id recommend otherwise it might be a pain to get the old debadged letters back on with proper spacing...

wow i didnt know that at all. and where can i purchase those at if needed?and is it expensive.. obviously not expensive but i mean for the lettering..

If the spacing is off it's a red flag for rear end damage (wrecked and fixed)... even if it wasn't wrecked, looks that way to an inspector or new buyer.

Leave them in the glovebox and let the dealer put then back on.

Think I got mine from Riverside for $50 - $60? It's been a while, but think that's right. Same as you, I have it ready for when I sell the car.
