Wow.. you guys are viscious!... I have over 3600 posts at tl.acurazine.com and probably 1600 of them are answering noob questions without flaming the OP.

But, obviously this is how <some> at G35driver.com roll, so i'll just stick to search, my owner's manual, and the service dept for further questions -- cheers!

Nah - don't let the few folks who flame noobs get ya down. This is a great board and I've gotten tons of help. If they really didn't want to help they wouldn't have posted at all. You just have to take the jabs with the help - you know - a spoon full of sugar and all that.

Meanwhile, I didn't even know what the heck DS mode was, let alone whether I had it on my car or how to use it. It was because of people on this board that I even noticed it when I shifted over.

Ignore the flames and enjoy the board - there is plenty to learn and lots of people willing to share.

One of my biggest frustrations right now is that I haven't been able to figure out how to cut and paste text from the manual for the G. I used to have an M and that manual has easy cut and paste available. I will usually just post the quote from the manual so folks can see where to find the info.

Has anyone been able to do this with the G manual yet?

Anyway - welcome!

Jay

Peter don't take it personally, don't be afraid to post other questions. Without new threads there would be no need for this forum.

This is actually one of the friendliest forums I have spent time in, which is why I have made it my primary home.

As for cutting and pasting... are you talking about the PDF version of the manual?
I lost cut/paste ability when I upgrade my adobe reader. I downgraded and all is good now.

Hey AV - I don't think that's the issue - I have Adobe Acrobat. I think it's the way I have the manuals downloaded. I've just been too lazy to download it again.

Thanks for the tip though.
