Does '08 G35x (non-Sport) have DS mode?
08 G35x (NON-sport) DOES have DS mode. All you do is pull the shifter over to the left and you'll see the display change to 'DS'. Don't up/down shift at all and just drive the car. It does the gear changes for you like in automatic mode, just at much higher revs.
I didn't even know about this feature until I read about it on these boards. It's fun to drive this way also. My only issue is that I tend to drive with my hand on the shifter and in DS mode, if I hit a corner too tightly, I will often shift gears inadvertantly.
Not the biggest deal in the world, just something to be aware of.
Have fun!

LOL... hope you got that out of your system, it took more energy for you to type what you did than to type "Yes" or "no"... your input is greatly appreciated.

Snow mode does not start the car in second gear. Proof of this is that you can be in M mode and pop on Snow mode. The car stays in 1.. it doesn't start in 2nd gear, although that's just what it feels like.
Snow mode starts the car off in AWD with power going 50/50 front and rear. It also cuts throttle responce, or what I call "numbs it up".
It allows you to start off without the snap forward and with little chance of loosing traction.

I will admit that this is a question that is easily answered by taking a quick peek at the owners manual, but we should allow Peter to hit at least 30 posts before we start flaming him for silly questions... no?

No worries dude, your questions are always welcome here. It's how we all learn.
