rear window seal

Did a search but found nothing. Anybody have a probelm with the seal on their rear window? I'm getting condensation on the inside of the window. Went to the local dealer, but they said that because I have a non-Bose subwoofer installed where the Bose one is supposed to go that they wouldn't repair the window.

Any thoughts on how much it might cost to get the window re-sealed if Infiniti won't cover it?

First off all, i'm getting condensation too, i don't think it's a problem with the window seal but i might be wrong.
Second, having a non-Bose sub has NOTHING to do with the window! they're just making lame excuses here. WTF.

regardless of whether theres a TSB for it or not if you have a warranty issue they have to help you out as long as you're within your warranty miles/months! Go back and let them know that otherwise call infiniti head right away!

My local dealer in Greenwich, CT absolutely SUCKS. I'm going to try and see if another dealership will fix it under warranty, but I woudl alos like to know what it costs in case they are pr!ks as well.

The reason I think it's a seal is that we had a heavy snow, but the sun melted the snow on the side windows and essentially cleaned out the moisture inside the car. After I removed the rest of the snow (including off the back window) the mositure returned in earnest on the inside of the back window. I think the heavy snow acted as its own seal.

Take the aftermarket speaker out and have them repair it. That claim itself by them is bull****.

wow, they're blaming your sub? damn.
what's next, theyt tell you it's because you're breathing in the car and breathing causes moisture to get in the seam and make it expand/contract?
some dealers should be bombed.

But, it's their game, I agree with san man, take out the sub and try another dealer. promise them that you'll keep doing your oil changes there and they'll be more than happy to service you on this warranty claim.

g luck
