Climate Control

My climate control seems to reset every time i leave the car. In other words, it never remembers what setting I had it on when I left the car previously. I just got the 2008 g35x Sedan...Can anyone tell me if this is normal?

My '07 Sedan remembers my previous setting. Your car is haunted. I'd give your service department a buzz.

Hey, I just bought my 2008 G35x a few days ago and I discovered the same problem this morning. Everytime I turn on the car it seems to go to A/C even though I had the heating on earlier. This is really going to annoy me, especially in the winter weather.

In the quick manual it states that the car will remember the active previous setting. Mine actually doesnt even come on when i get back into the car. I have to turn it back on, and it resets to 75 degrees with A/C....not too good since its 30 degrees and snowing right now in NY

If anyone finds anything it would be appreciated if they could post it on here since my Infiniti dealer is over an hour away and I just bought the car 3 days ago so I don't feel like driving there again.

The A/C turns on everytime. It's normal. It turns on in the winter to get the condensation out of the car. If you want it off, you need to turn it off every time.

Well I noticed the other guy who posted about having the same problem as you said he also drives an '08. Did Nissan chang out on us and remove this simple feature for '08 or do you guys both have defective cars?

the AC on my car is always on by default....drive me nuts, but if it is really there to balance out the moisture, then i am OK with it.

My car remembers settings as well, but I definitely have the key FOB linked to memory. For the people whose car doesn't seem to remember settings, do you have a key FOB linked to one of the two memory settings? Have you tried pressing either of the memory keys on the driver's door after starting the car to see if that recalls your last settings?

I just linked the key and same thing happened. Also, pressing the memory button doesnt do it either. Its funny but if I stay in the car, shut of engine, and then restart, it remembers the setting. But if i leave the car, it resets.
