Why did you buy the sedan over the coupe?

I searched the forum, and there was not an official thread for the topic. If there was, sorry. I thought it be amusing to find out why people got the sedan over the coupe since they are both in the same price range.

For me...I needed the rear seats to lug my siblings around and the AWD for the occasional snow and ice.

How about you guys?

Oh yeah, forgot, real man drives SEDANS!!! Haha, j/k!!!!

Some reasons that I can think of:
1) More rooms
2) Lighter -> accelerate faster

For me, I prefer a coupe but I can't because my parents don't want me to modify it to a race car like I did to my previous car. lol

I like luxury sport sedans. I don't really have any passengers, but I just like sedans for some reason, not that I don't like coupe's but in the long term the sedan is much more ideal for me.

Faster, more practical, better looking (IMHO), don't have to shift the seat for females to get in.

One huge disadvantage is the visual mods. Much more for the coupe. That's one thing I envy about them

^ Very true...If only companies made as much mods for the sedan as the coupe...
And space for more aggressive wheel setups would've been nice too but it's good enough.

Same here haha

I love how the G37 coupes look and how much more mods they have than us but i just like how the sedan looks.
Although we cant put on ft lips and stuff, we can make a mean looking car. I have some friends with some sick sedans and coupe guys sometimes even say "i wish i bought a sedan" hahaha
I love it when they say that lol

But I got it because of the extra room, the comfort, the speed, the weight, and the look.
The back seat comes in handy hehe

Oh ya, i love it when a 335i coupe comes up next to me and gets smoked by a G35 SEDAN

My reasons were as follows:

- We're not allowed a 2 door car (Company rules), no mater how much it cost.

All the performance mods for coupes are available for sedans, afaik.

I went for looks, performance and practicality, didn't even consider a coupe.

I didn't quite like the look of the g37 coupe as much as I liked the g35S. Now the coupe has grown on me now, but who wants to get a car and hope that they like it at some point.

This is the first of 4 cars that I've had which was 4door. After having coupes for so long it gets annoying to stand in the rain while people pile into the car and other little things like that.

Like everybody else says, a back seat and doors simply comes in handy more often than not. Considering we are only slightly slower than the G37 performance wasn't a big issue.
