07 Sedan Really Worth It

Hey guys I am extremely close to getting a new car and have narrowed it down to A g35 sedan. I am not sure If I should go with the 07 or the 05,06? Is it really worth more money for the 07.

Also I have been looking at mods for coupes for quite a while but can you still get z-tube, popcharger, plenum spacer etc... with the 07 sedans with new engines? Thanks -Chris!!!

haha depends on what style sedan you like!? the 2nd Gen has a way better Interior and motor! and no the z-tube stuff will not work with the 2nd gen sedans. since the newer motors have Dual throttle bodies.

DEFINITELY worth it. In my opinion, the first gen sedans aren't very good looking, not ugly, but sort of...blah. The 2nd gen is sexy and better looking and performing in every way, inside and out. Go for the 07. Get the premium, navigation, and tech packages too if you can, each is worth the extra money. I LOVE my G.

Coming from someone thats had both....I have to lean towards the 07/08....the overall package is better in my opinion (looks, motor, electronics, etc.)

BUT if you are looking into motor upgrades (the big ones, like plenum upgrade, turbos, etc.) then the 05/06, also you can pull off a nice double din radio or carputer much easier with the older ones.

Pretty much its a matter of what you really want to do. But the basic bolt on stuff is available for both.

If you want more go out of the box, and a far more superior interior go with then 2nd gen sedan.

I love my G!

If you can spring for it, get the 07.

I think my 05 has more character than our 08 though... just seems more... human. Idk.

If you can swing it, I'd say the 07+ because it has a stronger engine and newer technology which would take longer to obsolete.

I've driven the '08 and '06 extensively .. and I'd have to say push for the '07... much nicer inside, better ride quality .. and yeah, the power is a noticeable difference.

But, if you end up with '05/06, don't at all be upset, it's a helluva car, tons of power compared to most in its class, available all-wheel-drive, love the double din option so you can add a kick *** navi-system (aftermarket like pioneer) with advanced ipod integration and bluetooth.

Look around in this forum ... there is a ton of information in here. Also try the Tech sub section (above).
