I have pics of the entire cat-back in one of csquared's threads.
I can post some here if you can describe a little better what you want to see.

I will be unbolting my muffler tomorrow to see how it sounds. If it sounds anything like the videos, ill move forward with getting pipes and tips (should cost roughly $100-$150)

Let us know if you move forward with getting new pipes and tips and the cost as well. Thanks!

LOL, I'm going to try this tonight just to see. I'm just going to disconnect and leave the mufflers hanging. I bet my skinny body can do this without a jack.

I'll post my results/impression.

I took my mufflers off with no jack and i'm fat. You'll have no problems.

Do you need to pull it out or it just comes apart

Well it was cool to hear what it was like, but it's not really feasible. I had to put them at an awkward angle so it kind of looked crooked out the back (but both matched so most people wouldn't know, and in some weird way it looked better???). Additionally, with only the hangers supporting the mufflers, they bang around against the sway bar and against the other exhaust piece it used to be connected to (REALLY annoying and quite loud inside the car). Finally, it's not a long term solution by any means because the muffler is only hanging by two hangers. I could see after enough miles that they could work themselves off and just fall off the car and end up in the street (jacking up someone else's ride).

If I were serious about this muffler delete, I could rig up a permanent solution to keep the stock mufflers there (cutting a few inches off of each muffler), but in doing so I'd have to alter them to where they wouldn't be usable anymore.

I dig this muffler delete, it does sound great and NOT ricey at all, and trust me, I'm a mature audience when it comes to exhausts on cars. However, I don't want to live with it everyday so the ability to quickly go back to stock is very appealing.

I'm interested in everyone's progress with making simple pipes that hook up from the axle back. I definitely see this as having great potential. When meeting up with my car buddies, on go the pipes, for civil work/family/long trips, stock mufflers back on.

I found it was easier to remove the mufflers by just taking off the entire hanger fastener from the car.

Total time per muffler for on/off = less than 5 minutes (four 12mm pieces). I have an extra long extension that allowed me to get the rear hanger piece off from the side of the car (through wheel-well).

What do you mean?

You need to unscrew that clamp and then get the muffler off. Per my post above, you CAN leave the muffler hanging on by the two hangers but it's dangerous and will rattle life a motherf'er.

I think Csquared meant just pull the muffler off once it's disconnected. By no means can you pull without disconnecting the two clamps; just won't happen.

For taking the muffler off, you can work it off the two hangers or like me, just take the entire hanger fastener off the car. Once you've taken the muffler on/off the hangers a few times it'll get a lot easier, but I find with the right tools it's best to just take the entire hanger contraption off the car and leave it in tact on the muffler.

Look closely at the picture, just to clear your confusion. You disconnect it about 6" downline from the muffler itself. Once there, the muffler is connected to the car via two rubber hangers. You need to pry/work it out of the rubber piece. Just pull really hard, focus on doing one hanger at a time. (or you can just unscrew the who hanger piece).

Once you get under your car, it'll all make sense.

You talking about the rubbers right behind the muffler or past the resonators

Dude, man, it's pretty simple, check this picture out:

Unbolt 12mm bolt at unbolt here points. Pull muffler off rubber hangers at the four hanger spots. (or remove 2 12mm nuts per back hanger, and 1 12mm bolt for side hanger)
