Yea, but these kinds of things made me want to stop modding the car and just drive it all stock. Then I slap my self back to reality.

 

Got hit in the exact same place by a girl who backed into my car while it was parked in my driveway. My insurance company is still trying to get the money out of her, but it's taking forever. Hope you get it fixed soon.

 

Why is it taking so long if you don't mind me asking?

 

I got rear-ended by a crack-***** last summer.
Should have seen her. Obvisouly, the meth house was closing soon and she was in a hurry.

I'd love to slam her with a loss of value suit.
How do I do that?

 

sry it took me a lil to get back to you,

there are a few ways,

A call the at fault insurance and say u want a diminished value check, they will most likely tell you to go pound sand, (what happened to me)

after that you can get a lawyer, (what i did)
the lawyer wants 33% of the claim, but i do nothing except give him the info and the repair slip + he will go after loss of use cuz they gave me an entry level rav4 for a rental, which as we know, is not on par with my infiniti. 60-120 days later i get a check. for ~ $4k

the lawyer says i have a 99.5% chance of getting at lease 3k in my pocket, he is hopefull for around $4200 to me

so im happy

 

maybe if the girl could drive that damage would not exist.

im telling you, diminished value.

cuz we all know that if u were to buy that car, now, you would do a carfax on it, and u would see the $XXXX of damage, and u would use that to hagel down the price,
