M45 19's

Thinking about getting some M45 19's as back up on my G35 (the tires on my 18 inch sports are bald, and i'm currently running 20's).

Question is, what's a good price? What are they currently running. There's a local guy that wanted 1300 with spacers, but I talked him down to 800 cash.. You think i should jump on it? He's holding it for me, rims are in good shape, tires are just ok....

let me know what y'all think, should i call him up and pick them up asap? Or wait it out, there's better deals around?

If you don't, tell him that I'll give him $1100 shipped to NYC if the rims are rash free and comes with TMPS/centercaps/nuts.

Man, I paid $1500 (+ ship) for my M45's with no rash. $800 is a steal. Especially if you want the older style, knowing they are no longer made and that everybody from Maxima to G35 coupe to G35 sedan wants them.

well i guess i'll take the wheels, if not i can always sell it back to y'all (with no profit of course).... I have the money to buy it, and i got 3 flats the other day, and i was so upset, b/c my factory wheels were bald and it was raining.... That's why i want a set of back ups...

I am sure for $800, you will be able to sell it back with no problem. Always good to have a back up set, IMHO.

one thing you'll NEVER know until you balance them .. is whether there are any imperfections in how round the rims are .. 19" rims can take a beating from potholes, etc... i'd want to ride in a car with the 19's on first before buying them to make sure there wasn't any serious vibration ...

Very true. You could have bent rims and not even know it. 1st gen guys are running these with 35 profile tires on the front--not good!
