well, i know the guy, and it's been on his car for a while, but he wanted 20's with a lip, so that's why he's selling.... Plus these will be "back ups", so it's quite possible they I will never ride on them myself.... so if they hold air, and look decent with some tread left, i think i'll be ok

You guys are making me worry about my M45 rims!!! stop it! Lol

I havent put them on yet. Gonna be putting them on in 2 weeks. U guys made me take it out of the boxes ad inspected it once again.

They are the 08 M45's... so they havent really been driven on that much (Im assuming).

The manufacturer stamp on them is dated Feb. 26/08. I got them this Winter.

So im thinking I should be okay.

You have pretty new rims so should be fine--from the original owner? Any large wheel with a lot of history is going to be a greater risk.

Not the original owner. The 2nd hand owner.

The person I bought it from decided he wanted bigger brakes so these rims wont work for him no more. He decided on the NISMO A34's.

I think he only had it for a couple of months or so. But he was a 1st gen owner.

Should I be worried? lol

I just looked at the old thread on it again.

It said the rims roughly have 7000 miles on them. Fairly low?

Also, the tires he was running looks fairly thick. Not extreme low profiles or anything to that effect.

I think the M45's had 235/40/19 tires. If they were running those, I think you are fairly safe. 7k miles is very low--I wouldn't worry if I were you.
