Factory wheel options??
Anyone else thinks its stupid that Infiniti does not give you any options regarding wheels? BMW has a huge set of wheels for you to choose from, but none for Infiniti.
Also, am I the only person who's dealer doesn't even know Infiniti makes lips, spoilers, etc for our G's?? They think I'm screwing around with them when I ask about these factory options

Well you could always just ask the dealership to help you get a set of Oem factory wheels, they can get you the Rays and such, and i think they are around the same price as the ones BMW offer, like 3.5k for a set of rims. at that price I think infiniti knows you'll much rather get aftermarket.

well, you kinda do have a option, between the journey and sport wheels.... BMW usually gives you like 3 choices, but if you seen the base choice, that's why, they look like steelies that are painted silver... And on gerrman car's EVERYTHING is a separate option, where as EVERYTHING pretty much comes standard on a japanese cars with a few "packages" on top of that. But on mercedes you don't have too much of a choice, the rims the come with or you can buy AMG wheels for it for like 3k...

BMW offers a full catalog of performance parts, including wheels, but they're ridiculously expensive for "factory looking" wheels. Just like the rest of the BMW product line is ridiculously overpriced. I honestly think the majority of BMW owners don't have the real.... emotion? towards their car that they're going to go searching for a nice set of aftermarket wheels and trust those wheels. They'd rather get more things that are warrantied from BMW and have BMW logos. While for the same price, you could go get a really nice set of aftermarket wheels.
I guess it's so the BMWs stay more factory looking, while a lot more G's are customized.
My only real complaint is that they don't just offer the 19's as an option on the sedans, or at least the sedan sports. They only charge a few hundred for the 18" sport wheels on a regular journey - if they offered the coupe 19's for a few hundred extra I'm sure they'd sell a ton of them as options. But I can't see buying them from the dealership by themselves for 800+ per wheel.
