I was following the XDC Motorsports CF diffuser thread for a while, but after all this time, I'm getting inpatient so I decided to go to one of our vendors RavSpec and they are willing to produce a diffuser for 2nd Gen Sedans to our likings as long as we have enough interest. As many of you know, RavSpec has already produced a ton of stuff for our cars such as a front lip for the non sport bumper, rear aprons, roof spoilers, strut bars, and braces.

Pricing is not set in stone yet, but here is a general Guide Line:

Pricing: Estimate Only / Final price base on size of GB and final sample.
Fiber Glass: $199 ~ $299
Carbon Fiber: $325 ~ $425

They have already made diffusers for the G35 Coupe and our diffusers will look similar to that instead of the really bulky boxy look. For those of you who already have their rear aprons, they will make the design compliment them. Here are some pictures of the BlackTop Aero G35 Coupe Diffuser for reference:

Doesn't the sedan already have a diffuser? Although, it's not part of the bumper.

Technically, but this is also a visual mod.

A diffuser, in an automotive context, is a shaped section of the car underbody which improves the car's aerodynamic properties by enhancing the transition between the high-velocity airflow underneath the car and the much slower freestream airflow of the ambient atmosphere. It works by providing a space for the underbody airflow to decelerate and expand so that the boundary between the car's airflow and "external" airflow is less turbulent. It also provides a degree of "wake infill" (the wake being a turbulent area of low pressure that is caused by the passage of the vehicle through the air; this can cause pressure drag).
Plus, it looks nice.

If it is anything like the Coupe Diffuser, it will be mounted with bolts and mounting tape.

I'd be interested - the price for a fiberglass one seems pretty decent. Hopefully this actually happens!!

I would like to get at least 20-25 people interested before we start with the actual group buy.
