So the wife comes home late one night and informs me she hit a big rock someone had put in the middle of the road! Luckily she was slowing down to turn but still hit it hard. Hard enough that the car had to be jacked off of it.....Not as good as it sounds! Yes it hit the rock and it turned up and high centered the front end. I would love to catch whoever thought putting the rock there would be funny! And of course it counts as a collision on her insurance. I hate insurance companies. They are rapists and are never there when honest people need them. Car wont go in till Monday or Tuesday. All I can see is damage to the front plastic a little. Both ends of the swaybar poppped off. And when I jacked up one side coolant started driiping from the plastic cover underneath. There is also a loudish tapping noise when the car is running. Ah what a glorious weekend. If I found the person that put the rock there...

 

Sorry to hear, do you have pictures of what happened?

Last time i was going around 20 when the front wheel felt like it hit a hard rock and i could hear a loud THUD on the suspension. The car was fine though. I hope.

 

No pictures. Not alot to see. Just the ends popped off the swaybar, and eveything else is under the sheild that covers pretty much everything.
