How sad was your first car

g drivers,
post up some info on how sad ur first cars was,,

Mine was a 93 Honda Civic DX Sedan 5 speed, power nothing.
i got it when i was 15 and it had about 40k on it.
i drove it thru High school and then college.
The day i got my job after graduation i bought the G.

And then I ran the honda in a demo derbie, the funniest thing i have ever done, well maybe not the funniest, but it was dam close.

at about 100K i had the honda dynod and it had 68 HP. I still have it, all smashed up, and it still starts and runs, it has 268k miles on it.
i can't kill it, i have tried believe me.

before the demo

1st car was a 1987 Volvo 240 DL with 148K....or at least thats when the odometer stopped working. bought it for 500 bucks. Had AC but blew hot air (try that with houston summers of 110 deg+!) and there were ciggarette burns in all of the seats as well as massive dents all over the car. to add insult to injury somebody stole my grille and a hubcap. the transmission was a beast though, i could rev it to redline in neutral and drop it into Drive (coined the neutral drop) and it would tear away!!!

My very first car when I was 16 was my 68 Volkswagon Beetle.
Came with a 1.5 liter 53 hp engine. 0-60 in 20.4 seconds (according to volkswagon)

When I got about 70 mph on the freeway it would shake pretty bad. But if you had 4 people in it and all leaded on direction around turns, I could get it on two wheels.

i had a 79' buick regal, slammed to the ground. not intentionally but bc the suspension was shot. when i gunned it the gear would shift into neutral on it's own so i'd have to hold it in place.

i drove the car in 1991, mind you. haha

2003 ford focus zx3 2 door hatchback w/ 65k miles. dark gray, very ugly car, i hated the look, i'm not a hatchback guy at all and 2 doors was annoying. got it as a gift from the family as my high school graduation gift. i appreciated it because it was free and my family isn't well off, but 1.5 years later i sold it and bought my G.

it was a pretty good car, drove smooth, handled well, adequate power for a 4 cylinder, great MPG. nicknamed 'the bike' by my cousin because it was small and had little power lol. i beat the **** out of that car. burnouts in the rain, dumping trans into Drive after revving to redline in neutral, smashing on the brakes for fun, etc. etc. it held up well, i kind of miss beating the crap out of it, but i'd never give up the fun i have in my G.

Wasn't really mine, but I drove my moms 95 Ford Aerostar minivan to school for the first few months until she got my a 93 Honda DelSol. I still remember the laughs from the van. The honda was a fun little car though.

1977 datsun 810 wagon - slush box from hell, but nice engine (240z if I remember correctly) "The Shuttle" met it's untimely death in 1986 from a 17 year old's (me) neglect and penchant for powersliding into trees.

Mine was a 1984 mazda 626 with I think 60 hp? It was a hand me down from my sister. My freinds were embarresed to roll with me to the club cause it was half primer and half rusted. and It sucked to park in the student parking lot back in highschool everyone saw my crappy car, but It did survive a trip to SF somehow, and last time I heard it was still running since I gave it away to someone.
