Its prob better that you do switch out the grill, but I have not switched mine out yet and the performance is there. The install is alittle involved, you have to remove your bumper, but overall, well worth it (in my opinion)!!

 

Anyone have any info on how this intake compares to the stillen 3rd gen long tube intake?? They claim 14hp wheel hp increase. It seems to me that this is the would be the best option for our engine. Any thoughts??
