I love the intake. It is alittle involved getting it installed but not serious. There is no cutting, just moving a couple parts. As for the performance, F****** amazing. People use to say the car purrs really nicely, now its more like the car purrs like a lion, really nicely. Personally I feel like I can feel the performance, the bite on the acceleration (especially above 4k rpms). Overall very happy, but now I "have" to get a new grill and lower grill.

Overall, if you are thinking of getting an new after market intake, go injen!

PS. I drive a 2007 g35x 4dr

 

So are these Injens the same as the ones that came out a few months back? I mean are they the same ones that sit right behind the front grill? If so then how come the pipping is coloured black and not like the other Injen's I've seen?

 

They are. Depending on where you get them from, you can get them in either chrome or black. I think the black looks more smooth

 

these are not the new SRI from injen these are the long tube CAI but im guessing he got the "new" package which comes with the dry filter element

 

I've had injen intakes before on other vehicles. I'd love a video with the hood closed. To cut out the raspy tones. Plus maybe one from the cabin with the windows up then down. While I'm at it, a drive by would round things out.

you have to change the grill out to get this intake your saying? assuming I was to get one performance piece for my car, identical to yours other then color, would you suggest that or?
