iPod in Stock Aux Area

Hey Everyone,

I am a newer G35 owner. I bought a used 2008 G35 Sedan with 15k on it. Black on Black.

First Upgrade, I would like to use my iPod when I drive. Is there anyway to maintain steering wheel controls with just using the RCA (yellow, white, red) inputs in the center concil.

Thanks!

-Brendan

Nope, unless you have the 08 ipod connector you are stuck using the controls on the ipod. i would reccomend an RCA connector that utilizes the dock connection port on the bottom of the Ipod. You get a cleaner signal and you dont have to mess with the volume on your ipod!

FWIW I was very happy with my Griffin Tuneflex as my iPod setup in my VW before I got my G. It charges, plays, and holds the iPod on a flexible metal "snake" so you can see it and mess with it while driving.

You can check it out
here here

And see a setup example here
