is there a better looking deadman pedal for the AT G's? the plastic one looks terrible.

I know people were putting on some better looking ones. I think they were from ebay. The guy was selling it from Japan. IF I remember right.

Get one from the sports. Sports get different pedals including the deadman pedal which is aluminum

You can't get the sports package aluminum dead pedal without buying all the carpet too. It isn't sold by itself, only the other 2 or 3 pedals are (depending on trans).
