I have the car listed below and it still under warranty. My drivers seat has some cracks in the leather. Would this be covered under the warranty, or are they gonna give me BS like it's a wear item? Can leather be repaired, or does the seat and/or cover need to be replaced? thanks.

 

some dealerships will cover it under warranty -- most will probably call it a wear item -- that's a tough one -- no harm in taking it to the dealership you bought it from and finding out.

Mine was really bad on the left thigh support area as well and the dealer refered me to their interior repair shop. They replaced the leather, but Ill be honest with you, if your expecting it to feel and look like new, its not because the foam underneath the leather that comes new in your vehicle is very firm but after continuous entry/exit from your car it gets worn out and soft hence the leather begins to crease and look old.

 

wonder if theres something to apply to it to keep it from cracking...i dont mind the creases as long as it doesnt seperate
