then buy 18's with 50 series rubber...makes sense
if you go 19, you'd need 40 series rubber, not good on bad roads.

Im on 20" wheels with a 30 series tire. I dont know if you've ever been to Louisiana, but do to the fact we live on marsh land...the roads here are horrible and sinking all over. Car rides fine and havent had any problems with potholes or bumps. 19's will be fine

30 series tire in brooklyn will not work at all. if you going with 19" wheels then go with a 40 side profile and some forged rims thats probably the best bet. i got 20's and a 35 side profile and i live in long island and the roads are ****ed up here to but that side wall holds up perfect.

oh yeah and changin your rims wont mess up your struts or anything like that. and for the ride quality it depends on what tire you got and the side wall also.

sorry about the three different posts. if you going with the g37 19's you will get alot of road noise. i used to have a coupe with the 19's and drove on the BQE a couple times the noise was a killer those bridgestone tire are really grippy but they suck on tread life.

Not really true. I had 275/35's before, and i am now running 285/30's. The 285/30 has more sidewall than the 275/35 did.
