Two annoying problems in brand new G35 2008
#17
Hello all, I am currently encountered the issue with clicking noise on the front passenger side. My vehicle is 2008 G35xS with 22k mileage. I've brought the vehicle back to the dealer 2x, but they did not find anything with it while test drive the vehicle. Does anyone know what is going on with the problem?

Hello chapter29;
On your earlier post regarding the clicking noise, you mentioned,
"My passengers seat started to click as well. Sounded to me that it was in the door while driving.
The source was/is the vibrating seat back causing a clicking on the plastic cover that sits in front of the outer seat rail. I think it may cover the bolt that holds the seat down. I tried to mess with that cover and it seemed to go away for now."
I am experience that clicking noise right now. I brought the vehicle to the dealer, and they were so sure that it was the suspension, but they can not reproduce it often enough to back up their fact. So there was nothing done to the car. Personally, I think it is the seat. By saying mess with the cover, what did you do? Can you show me how you did it? My personal email is vu.kenny81@gmail.com if you get a chance to email me the instruction. The sound is driving me insane. Yet, it only happen when there is a passenger sits there, when we come slowly to a complete stop and slowly began to accelerate.
Kenny.
Thanks!

I am also having a problem with what I think is the compressor - it is so loud that it sounds like a plane engine revving before a takeoff. The higher the setting the worse it is, and primarily happens when I switch it to fresh air upper vents. It is markedly quieter when on recirc. - anyone else's experience similar? I initially attributed it to an air filter issue due to the difference, but then replaced the air filter and the noise and the difference are still there. Scheduled a service appointment at the dealer for next week.
I searched and could not find a TSB involving a compressor core for a '07 or '08 G at infinitihelp.com - there is one for O-ring refrigerant leak but nothing else.

I have an occasional clicking noise as well, turned out to be the seat belt buckle, what seems to be rubbing between it, the seat, and the plastic on the center console).
My fix is to just move it around (it seems to make the most trouble when it's down low where it's most compressed by both seat and console).

Same here. I just move it towards the center so it won't touch neither.
