...I just continued to be frustrated with how few POI's are available for this navi (2k8 and 2k9 G's) ..

Anyone have any experience with the navi update in the chicago/suburb region that can verify that the POI's increase in number and are updated for how current they are?

if you have an 08 i believe you have teh most current update. i have an 07 and there is nothing on there, and if it is it is a business that is no longer there

 

Your 09 has the most current software so compare it to your 08's

 

just checked my 2k9 POI database out .. no luck -- it's just as crappy -- thanks for the tip, though.
