Question ?

What does it mean when you get a message in the same place where you get your maintenance reminder message when a picture of a tire comes up. So when an oil can would normaly come up to remind you that you need to take it in for an oil change, I am getting the tire instead.

I initially thought its the TPMS but I am not sure about this, the wife just called to tell me so havent checked the tires yet.

Its no big deal if its showing up on the center red lcd screen where the mileage is shown. That is just a pre-set reminder by either you or your dealer to remind you to check your tires and assure everything is fine, its not a car generated warning or anything.

Usually set by the dealer to remind you to get your tires rotated for a longer life if you have non-sports sedan, i have mine switched off from settings within the cluster keep increasing the mileage until it drops back to "-".
Hope this helps
