TPMs Check?

Hello!

I finally picked a set of wheels and installed them!

Anyway, when I purchased the wheel the seller told me that TPMs are mounted.

Is there a way to check it? and... how long does it take Infiniti dealership to reset the TPMs?

Infiniti can pair them in about 5-10 minutes.
One dealer was asking $15- while another more local Infiniti dealer was asking $35- for the same job.

You can either rip the tires of the wheels, or wait for Infiniti to do the pairing.
If they're not there, they won't pai... it's that simple.

You can't really tell just by looking at the valve stems, but your stems should be metalic and not rubber... that would be one sure sign of no TPMS.

Oh ok.. Thanks.... my stems are metallic... soo hopefully...

Sorry for too many questions but... if the tpm is broken... I can't replace them without ripping my tires? TPM sign is really annoying...

Thanks!

TPMS sensors are mounted to the inside of the wheel, like any other valve stem.
You would need to remove the tires in order to replace or install sensors.

The dealership has a small handheld computer that plugs into the interface under the steering wheel to sync the sensors to the wheels. They'll plug in and within a few minutes, you should be all set.

i did not know we have to have dealers 'pair' the TPM. So does this mean when i get new tires, i'll have to pay $20-$40 just to have them pair for me?
