do any of you get service at nissan dealerships?

I take my G to the Nissan dealership. At Infiniti you have to make an appointment, and the service is undoubtedly more expensive. Nissan has the same parts, plus no appointment necessary. The G35 isnt that much more complicated or luxurious than say the 350z. If I had a G37 now, I'd take that to Infiniti.

I know this is an old thread, but I was curious if anyone else utilizes a Nissan dealer for their G sedan? The closest Infiniti dealer is 1.5hrs further than the closest Nissan dealer for me. All I plan to use the dealer for is oil changes (I typically do the rest myself).
I figure at the very least Nissan dealers should have the same genuine oil filter in stock as Infiniti and the specs for the '07 Sedan G35 engine, right? Isn't it the same basic engine platform as some Nissan models?

i am somewhat uneasy about taking mine to the Nissan dealer. i have done it before. when i went they tried to scare me into getting all kinds of stuff done. West houston infiniti never does any of that to me... plus they dont wash your car or give you loaners either...
I ONLY take my Infiniti's to Infiniti if I need to get something done under warranty.
Actually, I purchased a NISSAN extended warranty on my 04 coupe that I purchased used. Have used it once already.
Bottom line, there are bad Infiniti dealers and bad Nissan dealers.
