Not just yuppies.... hard to pin down the demographics (young, old, white, black, asian, covers all the bases.....) But silver G's are dime a dozen.

Tint makes people look a little longer.

 

There aren't many G's in my area of Western NY, just a couple silver ones. I keep my black looking like new and with the tint and chrome wheels I get a LOT of looks (especially at WOT ). The only nice cars around here are the A4's and BMW 3's. No double takes, but they definitely watch me go by. There isn't a dealership anywhere near us so a lot of people look because they don't know what it is and ask questions.

 

I get looks and compliments all the time and my car is a 2003 coupe... only exterior mods are drop, wheels, and tinted corners.

 

No looks here in NY. I see AMG Benzes and other exotics everyday. In my complex there is a Bentley GT, M5 and a Alpina B7. No second looks for my G. Actually, my wife who drives a Mercedes C230 gets lots of looks and her car is half the car my G35 is.

depends on the mods you have done..i usually wont second look a stock g35..

Im in Cali and surprisingly i still get a lot of coments lol. Im in North Hollywood and Gs are all over the place. I get coments from all types of ppl. Cops also tell me its a beautiful car after they pull me over lol. And a bmw 650 guy gave me great coments after i smoked a g37 coupe 3/3 and him 2/3. I was the only 1 with 3 ppl in the car 2, they were alone so the guy was realy impressed! But there was no way i was able to catch up to a ducati bike that pulled out from no where lol. PS my car is basicaly stock!

I got pulled over for no front plate (3 times in one year, ugh) and he told me he knows it sucks to put a plate on a nice car like mine, but I need to get it done

 

I chase down V36 G Sedans. But they don't even know we drive the same car. So sad it makes me.

RARELY do I get a second look. My car is always shinier than a new penny. I have noticed a HUGE amount of first gen sedans in my area and every time I pull up next to one, it is an old silver hair woman. No lie. Whats the deal with seniors and first gen sedans?? They don't even turn their heads Hard to compete with all the BMWs/Audis around here I guess. Washington state is Microsoft/Boing/INTEL town you know.
