If you think you love this car now, wait till you see the pics. Its a safe conclusion that whatever changes they made to the interior and exterior, the 2010 is going to look much better than the shape we have now. Remember this is not Acura

Yeah boy they screwed up the TL. Don't see very many on the road. Wonder how they sell. They have a recall also on some of the Honda and Acura include the TL but I believe the older ones. They had some fatalities and serious injuries over the airbag deploying and taking bis and pcs from metal with it.

I have always known that brand was going nowhere fast. Very soon it will be a brand well known for designing ugly cars. Porsche got away with it with the Cayenne, but the brand appeal with Porsche is too strong to resist so the Cayenne will still sell and now, the Cayenne actually looks nice. Acura on the other hand...........................................

Still wish they had brought the 350 horses on board for 2010 though, but hey, beggars cannot be choosers.

Yeah 350hp would be nice. Maybe next year. LOL

Just checked Acura TL sales numbers and 2006 July they sold over 6000 TL. Now 2009 July they sold just over 2400 TL. That's a big drop. The G sedan droped from 3300 in July 2008 to 3000 in July 2009.

Thats a 10% drop, considering the econmy is crap, thats not a big loss at all, in fact they say -10% is the new flat these days, LOL.

I cant forgive Infiniti for selling 20% more than Acura in July though, they should be moving much more units relative to the TL. Lets see how it goes for the the 2010 model.

I think part of the problem is that Infiniti, for some reason, is still not a well know brand such as Acura or Lexus. I was with an old friend on the weekend and he kept calling my car a Lexus. Many people I know don't know the brand, let alone who manufactures it.

Actually per this article, Infiniti has more brand appeal than Acura, no suprises there:

But you are right, some friends were in my car, and they were like this car is worth over 50k right, LOL. If there were girls, I would have said 90k, but since there were guys I had to swallow my pride and tell them its under 50k. They thought it competes with the 5 series though. But thats how I like it, the brand is a hidden treasure, so to speak

dang the 2010 sounds great - tons of good new stuff!

Just like everyone said those of us that got an '08 g35 would regret the '09 g37, now everyone that waited to get an '09 g37 will regret the '10 g37 haha - the circle of life (read: technology)

can't wait to see it, seems like they've added a ton more base features to a standard car. Although sport package still doesn't have separate fogs, just the base/journey models

what r u going to say when u get the 2010 and the all new 2012 comes out, lol. I would have hated moving to the 2010 if it was just like the '09. Dont get me wrong the '09 is better than the '08, but coming from an 08, it would would not have been like moving to this new 2010.

In 2012, I will be regretting moving to the 2010 model though, LOL, will cross the bridge when I get there.

So wait, does the base model have separated fog lights and the sport model still have integrated ones?

The no pics despite all the great 2010 official change info is killing me!

Even though I need to keep the 08 due to kids in college (damn kids!)...

With any car make, you'll never be able to hit a moving model year target (as noted by "306HP")...

Just some guesstimating on my part but...

*New grille design - Could the midnight black grill become "standard"?
*New rear fascia - Could be just a change to a single set of parts & pieces for ease of assembly - using the current 07/08/09 Sport fascias?
*New 17-inch wheel design and color - Gunmetal Black as an option? Seems weird to make the 17s MORE aggressive?

It's not that outrageous considering you can by a 350 HP VQ37VHR straight from the dealership in the form of a Nismo 370Z.

All these exterior updates make me think they are going to try and make the sedan look more like the coupe (maybe more rounder looking). Obviously there is no indication of that but that's just my thought.

Cant wait to see pics.
