You're right about the gear searching and hesitation when floored. I experienced this for a second time last week when I got my second G37 loaner in a few months. I think it's probably one of those things that you can train to improve though.

Quote: agree. No offense to anyone, but if i am going to pay $45-$55K for a blown up version of the G, then i'd say "no thank you." Don't get m wrong, i LOVE the design of my 08 G. But i think(IMo) it would be a smarter move if Infiniti design their line of vehicles with a bigger diff from each other, like the Mercedes and BMW.
So I take it you haven't actually SEEN a BMW or MB?

They all look the same too, its called design continuity.

As long as some of that stuff can be put into the current G I'll be fine. I'm really hoping the next gen nav is a software update... or at least a center console upgrade or something.

the 2011 m is sick..

M37 and m56. that's friggen crazy... although still suprised that a DI engine isn't what's up for 2011... I think that would've did it for the M.

the interior is just incredible (actual pictures of production type model)

What's wrong with the current NAV?

It doesn't have features that the 2010 G will have. Zagat reviews, higher resolution, live weather updates/alerts, and a few other tweaks.

gotcha. Knowing that there is a new G coming out and possibly a new NAV, do you think they will put out another map update for the current NAV system? I have an '07 Sedan and wanted to update the maps, but wanted to wait until the next update, not the one that's currently available.
