07 g35x

hey guys i just got a black 07 g35x and i love this car..upgraded from a 1997 chevy silverado so its like a whole new world lol. Anyways I was wondering what you guys recommend upgrading first besides tints and rims. Also whats the best upgrade for more horses without hurting fuel economy?

Congrats on the new car and welcome to the forums. The answer to this question is subjective.

For performance, you want increased power/weight ratio (more power / less weight) and/or less drag. More power almost always mean more gas. You can't get something for nothing.

Welcome! Nice choice for a G.
Many are seeing minor improved power and fuel economy with the power pup. Check out this thread.

^none of them for power... and terry's right, to get more power means to use more fuel. an intake on this car is a waste of money if you're doing it for power, but it sounds mean!

there's ecu reprogrammers (like the powerpup bullydog) that will give you the best power for the buck, certain intakes will yield a few horses (jwt, k&n, maybe more), an exhaust will give you a few horses. face it, you bought a pretty fast car to begin with.

If you live in Cali you can drive over to Hotchkis and have them customize sway bars for us... i mean you. https://g35driver.com/forums/v36-bra...-not-lost.html

I would say the Bully Dog Tune, i advanced the timing by 2 with it and gained 2 MPG!

Intake doesnt really add much, but it sure does sound bad a$$!

Exhaust will net you about 9-10HP gains with a full catback and sounds amazing on our cars!

Get the Stillen Gen 3 intake. I just put it in mine 07 G35x this weekend and it is great. I'm seeing better fuel economy as well, but that could be due to resetting the system (unplugged from battery while installing).

EDIT: And a dyno proven 14whp for the intake
