6MT for G37 Sedans

Are these really rare to find or something? The dealership by me has absolutely none. I have been looking to lease a 6MT White G37 sedan but am having no such luck.

Also, do the G37 sedans with the Sports Package come with the big brake calipers? (Like brembo brakes or whatnot?)

Sorry for noobish questions, I am in the process of selling my G35 coupe and don't know much about the G37 sedans.

Yes, 6MT G37 sedans are rare as they supposedly only make up around 5% of sales. If there's a specific color/package combination you're looking for your best bet is to order it.

As for the sports package, they come with 4 piston caliper Akebono brakes. They are 14.0 x 1.3-inch in the front and 13.8 x 0.8-inch in the back.

he is right, you have to order it.

dude i lucked out, the exact car/package combo and color that i wanted was in my local dealer as a left over 07 in December of 07.
the only other 6mt on the east cost at the time was on a ship coming in to NY, and was slated to go to the socal market, they could have redirected it to my local dealer, but i only had a 3 day window to decide on that car.
it was basically a one in a minion shot that they had the exact car i wanted in a 6mt.
so ya ur going to have to order a 6mt if you want one.
90 day wait, sucks

Where in NJ are you located? Which dealerships have you been to? Circle Infiniti stocks a lot of cars, I'd be surprised if they didn't have a white g37 sedan 6mt.

Join G35NYC.com and PM Da Mayor, (Kenny) he is the sales manager at Infiniti of Masapequia on Long Island, he will definitely be able to help you out.

You will have to look around, but my dealer brought one in from another dealer or lot somewhere. They are out there, but rare. Just find a dealer that is willing to track one down. I have found that some dealers only want to sell their inventory (a lot of times they are paying interest and insurance for cars on their lot so they want to move them), and some are willing to get you the car you want. You need to find one of the latter....

id say order as i did the same for my g35 cause they just could find the combo with MT that i wanted, trust me the wait is not that bad and you'll be happy with your purchase unlike settling for a car that doesnt have everything u want.

it's funny that this is true because the g37 6mt sport sedan is CHEAP AS HELL.

i mean MSRP is 42 which includes EVERY option. that's like 2500 cheaper than the journey with every option.

It's near impossible to find a 6mt sedan in the Northeast, pretty much every sedan is an X

edit: just did a quick search, found 2 at Ray Catena in Edison, here's the link http://tinyurl.com/kmqbt7

Your telling me, I went crazy I wanted a fully loaded 6MT RWD G. I ended up close but got a 5AT RWD that was fully loaded. I do have to admit though sometimes I wish I did hold up longer for that 6MT. All I ever see around my area is X's. Good luck with your search man, I hope you find exactly what your looking for in your G.

Never settle when you buy a car. You're better off ordering exactly what you want and waiting 90 days than to compromise. It's better to wait 90 days than to regret your purchase down the road. Just my $0.02 for what its worth.

agree 100%. i hated the 4 month wait, but the 2 years i have had the car have been my favorite automotive 2 years of my life. be patient, get the exact car you want, and take care of that rarity!

who cares about msrp,, walk in and say you want it for invoice,
they get a kick back above and beyond that soo.

i would never buy a car for any thing more then invoice.

my question really is: are people getting 09 g37's for less than $2500 under invoice with any regularity?

Bought my G35 6MT in July '07 from Douglas Infiniti in Summit, NJ. Had one on order--yes, the only way to get precisely the 6MT you want. But my old Passat VR6 suddenly fell completely apart, and I was willing to compromise somewhat. Douglas found one for me without 4WAS in Virginia and had it shipped t NJ.

As a lifelong manual tranny guy, the G356MT is the best driving experience I've ever had. I still have regrets about foregoing the 4WAS.

But yes, the car is an absolute blast. Douglas was very easy to deal with.
