Found out the car I am looking at was in an accident. I looked at the body shop report that indicated there was no frame damage. They replace the rear bumper, trunk and rear quarter panel.

Car seems to drive fine and has 30k miles on it.

Should I stay away from a car that has been wrecked? I am sure there are lots of cars put there that have been in accidents not reported and buyers never told.

Any input?

 

If you're saving a ton of dough on this and if the damage is only cosmetic, I say go for it.
If you are not saving much, find something else.

IMO, it's not a good enough deal. You can probably find a non-wrecked car in that price range.

Are you buying from a dealer? Is Infiniti warranty still valid?

 

Located in St. Louis, MO. Yes the factory warranty is still good. It's not an Infiniti Certified Pre-owned but a Motor Trend Certified Preowned. Not sure what that really is though.
