07 g35s question

I just came across a certified preowned 07 G35s with 62,500 miles on the the odometer for $22.500, and the only problem I noticed is that the paint on the steering wheel is flakeing off. Should I pick it up or keep searching for a car that may cost a little more, but has less miles on in?

Keep looking, 62,000 miles on an 07 is too much too fast. A car of that age should have about 30 to 35k miles, period. And you could probably get it for close to the same price.

I would keep looking as well, over 60k is a lot. On a side note I thought that the car had to have less then 60k in order to be a certified infiniti? Keep looking around you will definitly find a better deal for your G.

Thanks for the help. After some research I found out that CPO warranty is up to 100k/ six years, I thought it was added on to the date it was purchased. Sorry for the dumb question.

Too many miles.... i dont even think they can certify a car with 60k on the clock. that car wont get sold too fast. i would try to get them below 20k. it may be worth it if it has all the goodies like navi and tech package. i would also ask for all available maintainence records. it should have had its rear diff fluid, trans fluid, coolant, air filters, cabin filter and a few other things changed by then. if not its going to be about another 1k to do all of that at the dealer. not to mention if you need new tires as well. its probably on its 4th set by now LOL

Keep looking my friend, I currently have a grey 07 g35 with freshly over 20k miles, and am trading it in for a 07 g35s with only 27k miles, bought the g35 for 23 and the g35s for straight trade in...

So easily able to get better for less or same...

straight trade in. Wow, who knew the G35 wouldn't lose value over two years?

As everyone else said: My '07 G has 32k miles on it, and has no interior or exterior problems (except for paint chips... ). And I bought mine in Nov. '06

I sent them a S&G offer for 16,000, trying to get them to 19,000 , and it was "already sold". A little late for Lenny, but it was a fully loaded G35S, minus the Rosewood trim for whats that worth.

Rosewood trim and Sport doesn't go together - ever.

Unless some cheesy aftermarket package has been applied...
