when I had that issue (car was WAYYY to low =P) i used flat boards to even the approach up. but my drop back then was REALLL low.

Nice idea with the mat! I scrapped on the hwy at night doing about 80 with my wife following in her car....ton of sparks. She said it looked sick but your car is still stupid....lol!
