Have any of you consider to take the "dynamic damper" from OEM exhaust pipe and install them on your aftermarket pipes? Those parts suppose to absorb vibration from the pipes and mufflers.

If those dampers were really needed companys like HKS, Stillen and F1 would have included them with their systems....don't ya think? Each of these companys spend hundreds of hours on design/sound of their systems, they're not needed....

I have zero vibration in my exhaust system from HKS.Gary
Can you get these brackets separately? I'm of the opinion these things are there for a reason. I think there is less testing on aftermarket products than most people assume--they just use what has been done in the past.
Csquared is right, Stillen has built-in mounts for their catback. I've drive with and without those weights and it makes very little difference if any.

There was a forum on here talking about exhausts and how Stillens vibration is REALLY annoying to people who sit in the back seat. When they test exhausts, they don't have them for a year and work them in like regular people. We're pretty much market tools for them. While we express our feelings and ideas for free. They may be browsing sites and taking that information for their self gain and make thousands. That's they way free marketing works at least :P

, they don't want the drive to end
I don't know if it's the exhaust, or lowering the car, or going with 19" wheels, but there is definitely more low-level vibration now than when stock. I know our passenger seat is prone to vibrate, but I feel like it is doing it more now than when stock and I can feel vibration in the driver seat even at idle. I've gone under a gazillion times and am the exhaust isn't hitting anything. I know the rubber exhaust hangers isolate some vibation but they are pulled pretty taught and I'm sure some gets through. Why would Nissan put them on if they weren't effective? If anything, I would think the potential for aftermarket exhausts to vibrate more is greater.
