6 LED boards installed - glow when off?

I finally got around to installing the complete set of interior Halo 6 LED boards last week,
what a difference

I was happy the the fade to off still works ,
but wondered if others are getting a very dim glow from these when off?

It's actually a cool effect in the car at night.
They are dim enough that they don't really add to ambient lighting & are not a distraction at all.
& they are dim enough that you can only see the glow at night.
Daytime... no way.

I'm not sure what's powering them in this situation,
but I suspect it's an open loop monitoring circuit .

Anyone else notice this????

LEDs same as these pics

Here's some pics I took, they look pretty much completely white in the pics, but in case you pickup any blue, that's just the camera, these are all completely white, I wouldn't have it any other way.

what do you guys think? AMAZING.

i have a 12 led bulb in the map lights, and a 4led bulb in the back seats. the front doesnt glow, but the back bulbs have a dim glow to them as you described. they shut completely off after about 15 mins after the car has been shut off, doors are closed and maybe locked.

I have LED interior as well, and they glow faintly. I would agree on your theory that the open loop monitoring circuit is providing a small amount of current/voltage to the interior lighting circuit. LED's have a low power requirement anyway, so I wasn't surprised when I saw this after I installed them last year.

haha, nothing wrong with that helps him set the mood for the ladies lol. I personally do not have any glow at all with mine either but mine are not as bright as those babies.

I have heard thought with a lot of the higher powered LED's that a lot of people tend to get the glowing effect your talking about InTgr8r.

Nothing like a little wax dripping on the carpet.
