warranty issues

I,m going to schedule my car to have all of the following repaired. It's an 07 journey. This should all be repaired under warranty right?

Passenger air bag issue
sun roof finisher loose
weatherstrip loose
hard to fill fuel tank
fuel cap tether has detached from the door
heated seats issue
passanger seat vibrates
warped dash/vinil behind steering wheel
scratched door handles

Any help is appreciated.

Well, you should go in expecting that it's all covered by warranty; depending on the dealer, it may be. I wouldn't be too disappointed if the interior scratches aren't covered, that's arguably "wear".

what about scratches on the steering wheel? has it been easy getting a replacement given the fact the materials were changed in the 08's to prevent being easily scratched?

Removal of batteries should cure this.

If they dont figure out the vibrating passenger seat out I'll trade ya, my wife would enjoy the ride, and it would save me some work.

Sounds like the sensor thinks it is in the fully extended position and has to retract.

I just got back from my Infiniti of Tucson and I gave the guys a long list of TSBs and other cosmetic legit issues. They took their time and everything was covered under waranty. They didn't once give me any hastle. It was far better then I expected. I just wanted to go on the record with that. Thanks.

Good for you! Its nice when you get the service that is deserved, and not a run-around. I've been pretty happy with my local dealer too....

Glad it worked out, now enjoy that G!

I often find that it depends on the service manager, not necessarily the dealership. A knowlegdeable one will definitely make your life easier, but there are a few SM that make stuff up as they go along and are stubbornly and confidently clueless. There is one like that in my dealership, and I make sure to request not to be serviced by him.

Well I took my car in wednesday. The service manager had an angry look in his face but didn't challange any of the issues. I added the brake judder issue to the list below. They are fixing EVERYTHING even the scratched door handles! I will not have my car back till Friday but thats ok i have a loaner g37 sedan. I will let you know how things turn out when I pick up the car.
