call me crazy but I am actually pondering the possibility of using one of these spoilers now that my chrome trunk finisher is painted LP. What do you all think?

Stillen

Still a fan of no spoiler. Definitely not the spoiler depot one though. A flush mount spoiler looks 100x better than one of those. Does the Stillen not go all the way to the edge of the trunk?

I prefer the more subtle look of the OEM rear lip spoiler over either of the ones you have shown.

i refuse to go OEM lip style. Of all the pics I have seen, it looks good at one angle. And now that im realizing that a TK spoiler may be out of the question, I am looking at these two again.

Well isn't the Spoiler Depot a copy of the OEM.

If I had to choose between the two you picked, I like the Stillen one better especially since you painted the chrome finisher.

Boy I don't really know. I have the OEM spoiler like the one on the bottom on my black XS. However with your car and its painted finisher I tend to lean towards the Stillen or something similar since it looks like it makes the finisher as part of the spoiler. Without the spoiler my thinking is that rather than just painting the finisher I would have tried to blend it completely in with the trunk lid, but it fits in with it looking like it is part of the spoiler as well.

there might also be the possibility of molding the painted finisher piece and the stillen spoiler to essentially make the stillen spoiler a "bolt on."

Here's another option, if you're interested.

Is that spoiler large enough to cover the factory spoiler holes?

I had stillen for a couple months, than took it away. For me quality is not the best..it is very hard to make it fit on 100%. Nothing has better quality than the OEM!!! I know it for sure now) lol

I would pick the stillen, I think a really nice lip spoiler could make our cars look sweet, I mean something like the m3 trunk lip spoiler would look awesome.

That was my friends m3, he traded it for a GTR..... We're in College......

uh oh. i dont like hearing that...

ive ruled out the Spoiler Depot style.

Clement, i agree with the lip spoiler but cant find anything good. TK is what I really want but price and fitment are issues.

right now, i am leaning towards the Stillen, however, i think I am going to have my shop mold the trunk finisher piece and the stillen spoiler together to make a one piece spoiler that bolts on.

thoughts?

Your workshop should try hard to make stillen lip fit good. After mine was installed I noticed a few gaps between lip and trunk. OEM is always OEM, great quality and perfect fitment. But I actually not a fan of OEM Nissan spoiler. It looks like our city major's cap))) (Moscow)
