New steering wheels and all four door handles here under warranty. The scratches were just horrible looking.

I am having the same chipping issues with my 07 G35 sedan. I just passed the 60,000 mile marker, and the dealership agreed to replace the door bezels free of charge (even though they said "soft trim" isn't covered under the full extended warranty). When I asked about the steering wheel, I was told it was a $1,500 part, but that I would have to pay $350 out of pocket. Does the entire wheel have to be replaced to fix the chipped bezel? I just couldn't believe it cost that much to fix a chipped plastic part. I don't think it is worth $350 to me for the fix. I would appreciate any info you guys can offer.

Thanks,
Cooper

Dealer told me it is not a separate piece so they had to relace the whole steering wheel.

I think it is possible to replace it but the reason they don't want to do it because of the liability issue with the airbag. Just a guess. Maybe somebody knows better.

Heaven forbid they just replace a part without trying to make it look like there doing you a HUGE favour at the same sime. Since when is rigid plastic condidered 'soft trim'? You should have said if this piece of rigid plastic is soft then please explain to me what hard trim is.
Dealerships
See post 13. He had everything replaced under warranty.
